Q: Where is FashionCampNYC located?

A: We are conveniently located in midtown Manhattan at the LIM the College for the Business of Fashion located at 12 East 53rd Street between 5th and Madison Avenues, conviently located in midtown Manhattan.

Q: How many campers will be attending fashion camp?

A: Enrollment is limited to 80 campers per session. We accept applications on a first come, first serve basis.

Q: What is included in the cost of tuition of $1195.00 (per camper)?

A: All lectures, seminars, store visits, project materials, transportation during field trips, and afternoon refreshments. In addition, an all-camp lunch on the first day and a networking breakfast with all our FashionCampNYC faculty on the last day is included.

Q: Who are the directors of FashionCampNYC?

A: Husband and wife Gordon Josey and Fran Della Badia. Gordon, a member of the American Camp Association, has been in the summer camp business as an owner and director for fifteen years. Fran is the Senior Vice President of Merchandising for Coach.

Q: What kind of supervision is provided?

A: In addition to the FashionCampNYC faculty, the entire program will be supervised by trained camp counselors (who are students at LIM, The College for the Business of Fashion) and the camp’s directors.

Q: What kind of fashion experience is needed?

A: Consider FashionCampNYC as your stepping stone to the fashion industry! No experience is needed, just enthusiam and a passion for fashion.

Q: Do you have suggestions for overnight accommodations for campers outside of the New York metro area?

A: Campers from outside the New York metro area have stayed with family or friends or finding reasonably priced hotels in New York City.
